Topic: Profiting from America’s Energy Revolution: The Best Investments for Income and Growth
Speaker: Elliott H. Gue, Editor, Energy & Income Advisor and Capitalist Times
As recently as 2007, the U.S. Energy Information Administration predicted the country would need to increase liquefied natural gas (LNG) imports 7.5 times by 2030, to 4.5 trillion cubic feet annually. But the shale revolution has completely changed that outlook. Thanks to surging output from fields such as the Marcellus and the south Texas Eagleford, the U.S. is now the world’s largest natural gas producer. In this session we’ll discuss companies best-positioned to benefit from this ongoing trend, including oil services with technological expertise that enables drilling shale and deepwater fields, producers with access to the best acreage in the most prolific fields, master limited partnerships (MLPs) offering yields of up to 10%, and a host of manufacturers who stand to gain from America’s newfound energy abundance.
